If you're looking for great fish and chips, look no further than local fish and chips. We visited for a quick dinner as a family of 4 and ate in. The quality of the food was outstanding, haddock was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Super staff very friendly!!

Excellent haddock, chips and (large) peas which compare favourably to that offered by the numerous chippies across the UK I've visited in the last forty-odd years. The service deserves a full five stars, lovely people. You can call and order in advance of collection reducing the wait time. There is a restaurant area which I have used once with family and found a pleasant experience though the tables at the front are a bit too busy with the counter, people waiting and the front door. The prices for eating in are reasonable. The (takeout) meal totted up to around 14 which is in line with other local takeaways. Fish and chips hasn't been a cheap meal option for a while now - every component has rocketed in price from potatoes to oil and that's before you even consider inflated energy costs, rent and business rates. Please note it is strictly cash only which seems a little limiting as it will turn away some casual customers. I haven't routinely carried cash or even a debit card in years so would be unable to just 'drop in' on the way past the (very well placed) location in town.

Great place to stop for lunch. Reasonably priced, decent portions and the staff cannot do enough for you. We have been a couple of times in the last few years when we go to St Ives. Cash-only, which I guess for me is a minor inconvenience but there's a cash machine 100m down the road so it's not the end of the world. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area!
